Paul Murphy

Founder | CEO

Paul was born in Argentina. He grew up in France, Italy, and America. He’s been lucky enough to work in New York, London, Buenos Aires, Zug, and a few other places. He used to write a lot of code. Now he’s kind of rusty. He does whatever needs doing, whether or not it’s fun.

In his spare time Paul participates in several activities that make his vegetarian friends unhappy. He firmly believes that the answer to most questions can be found in musical and opera scores.

Neil Zumwalde

Neil was born in a state of sanity called Minnesota. His parents taught him never to trust fast-talking people from the coasts, which has served him well. Neil moved to Austin because he was tired of being cold.

In his spare time he writes music for a pretty famous band, performs with several less famous bands, and has more ideas per hour than normal people have in a lifetime

Momin Ahmad

Momin is the engineering group’s secret weapon. He pretends to know very little and then solves problems in ways that surprise his older team members.  Thanks to his years in the music industry, Momin is both unflappable and rarely surprised by the foibles of human nature.
A UT graduate with a focus in philosophy, Momin somehow managed to pick up all sorts of useful skills between gigs and basketball games.

Robert Cohen

Robert is a natural researcher and writer. He has worked for top early-stage VC firms Social Starts and Joyance, Manhattan Venture Partners and Keiretsu Forum. Robert’s analyses have appeared in leading technology magazines throughout the world.
Anyone who thinks philosophy degrees are useless should spend a day working with Robert. His thinking is all Hegel, with healthy doses of Plato, Kierkegaard and Nietzsche.  It’s unclear how anyone can handle the implications of crypto without the help of this pantheon.

Laura specializes in messy situations. She can deal with complex corporate structures and undisciplined management teams. She is, of course, happy that Graychain presents neither of those problems.
In her spare time Laura manages a husband and two kids.

Asahi Sato

For  20 years Asahi has been revolutionizing strategic design for clients around the world, first in Japan, then the US, and now the UK and Hong Kong. Her core skills are data visualization, live presentation, and innovative film solutions. She’s versatile and creative to a degree that puts the rest of the team to shame. She can  switch between video projects, design dilemmas, and PowerPoint projects without missing a beat.
Asahi is also well-know for her diplomatic skills. When the rest of the team sends her a first pass at a design solution, she never responds with a 😂
" Cryptocurrencies are changing the world. They are the foundation of the next financial system. No financial system can exist without credit, and credit can't be extended without credit data. We want to help change the world, so we are providing this data. "
